I had been prepping this week for a flower girl shoot in which my darling daughter Lark was to model. Unfortunately it was cancelled and so I decided to (bribe her with a cinema visit) and convince her to model for me at home.
My inspiration was to create a much more relaxed boho look, using soft muted cotton fabrics and laces. Combined with the vibrant colours in the flower crowns, it makes for a very fresh take on modern flower girl style.
Without realising it, the styling has taken on quite a mexican vibe with Frida Kahlo qualities! and as queen of the flower crowns, there's no better muse.
Now, I'm no photographer but I can't help but be thrilled with the results. How did I produce this gorgeous creature? And where did she learn how to model? Maybe all those hours watching ANTM when pregnant have proved useful!
I had made a whole new collection of brightly coloured crowns for the shoot, so I will be slowly adding them to the website where you can purchase directly.
We had a while lotta fun, and my cinema bribe was the perfect idea as I freaking love the cinema, and it was a treat for both of us to have a date together.
here's the full gallery below, and have a look at our shop for more info on how to purchase.
All crowns are suitable for a child or an adult so you can have a mini me in the same crown!
